"Omak keeps expanding. The growth we expect in the future needs to be strategically planned to bring the greatest benefit the community of Omak. I would like the Omak of the future to offer more family wage jobs, and jobs in more professional and technical fields. Omak has a wealth of buildable space, as well as state-of-the-art Internet bandwidth; the city needs to scout for those businesses which could make good use of these resources and help them become interested in being a part of our community. To achieve this, city representatives would attend job fairs and construct a webpage to attract appropriate businesses. The jobs provided by these businesses would boost the tax base and expand employment opportunities for local residents. When the city expands, it will have to have adequate water and sewer to accommodate the growth. Omak's infrastructure needs to be designed to handle future controlled expansion.

City representatives need to conduct a traffic flow analysis of Omak. This would include looking at the deteriorating bridge, current and future street plans, and parking in the down town area. The city should offer community forums for open discussions.

The city of Omak already has beautiful parks we use to gather and build community. However, these parks need updated play ground equipment, more and improved lighting, and restrooms. A consultant would be used to locate appropriate funding for necessary improvements. "
